Current Evacuation Alerts and Orders for Upper Park Rill Creek (K52813) wildfire 

Evacuation Alert RESCIND for properties in Electoral Areas “C”, “G” and “I”, effective Friday, August 25, 2023, 11:00 am, impacted by Upper Park Rill Creek (K52813) wildfire. 
Evacuation Alerts have been RESCINDED in Electoral Areas “C”, “G”, and “I”, effective Friday, August 25, 2023, 11:00 am, due to the Upper Park Rill Creek (K52813) wildfire for the following locations:

• Electoral Area “C” west of 99th and 97th Streets, Upper Fairview Road, area west of Willowbrook and including the Willowbrook area
• Electoral Area “G” one large property west of Grand Oro Road Area
• Electoral Area “I” on Green Lake Road and including White Lake Road 

Evacuation Order RESCIND for Electoral Areas “C”, “G” and “I” impacted by Upper Park Rill Creek (K52813) wildfire
All Evacuation ORDERS were RESCINDED for the Upper Park Rill Creek wildfire, effective Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 7:30 pm, for all 96 properties along Grand Oro Rd and the Yellow Brick Rd areas. Properties in the area will remain on Evacuation ALERT. Willowbrook Rd in the Yellow Brick Rd area is open to traffic.

• Electoral Area “C” including: Yellowbrick Road, Orofino Creek Road, Ripley Lake and Madden Lake
• Electoral Area “I” including: Grand Oro and Grand Oro Branch Road
• Electoral Area “G” including: on Grand Oro Road

BC Wildfire – Upper Park Rill Creek (K52813)

• Evacuation Orders: no properties
• Evacuation Alerts: 96 properties

The RDOS EOC is fully staffed and monitoring the Crater Creek (K52125) and Upper Park Rill Creek (K52813) wildfires. The RDOS is collaborating with all local governments and Indigenous communities within the RDOS.

Emergency Reception Centre
The Emergency Reception Centre at Princess Margaret Secondary located at 120 Green Avenue West in Penticton is open Friday, August 25, 2023, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Reception Centre will be closed on Saturday, August 26, 2023 and is scheduled to be reopen Sunday, August 27, 2023, at 9:00 am.
