The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is hosting two open house events in June as part of Recreation Month. The events will highlight some of the programs and services offered by RDOS Recreation with assistance from local groups and volunteers. The events will also include free food and activities.

“The RDOS offers a wide variety of recreation programs and services for people of all ages,” says RDOS Chair Mark Pendergraft. “RDOS recreation facilities, including those in the Similkameen and Okanagan Falls, are also important community gathering places.”

In addition to showcasing recreation programs, services, and facilities, the open house events will feature information about other RDOS initiatives, including FireSmart, emergency services, water conservation, and the Electoral Area G Official Community Plan (OCP) process.

• Thursday, June 16, 2022 (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm) Okanagan Falls Recreation Centre, 1141 Cedar Street, Okanagan Falls
