PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING Electoral Area “E” Zoning/OCP Amendment Bylaws

Description:

Zoning & OCP amendment(s) are being sought to rezone an approximately 650m2 area of land, for a civic facility, specifically a fire rescue training facility, which may include training structures, equipment, and vehicle storage.

Amendment Bylaw No. 3010.03, 2025, proposes to amend Schedule ‘B’ (OCP Map) of the Electoral Area “E” Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 3010, 2023, by changing the land use designation of the property from Agriculture (AG) to Administrative, Cultural and Institutional (AI).

Amendment Bylaw No. 2800.52, 2025, proposes to amend Schedule ‘2’ (Zoning Map) of the Okanagan Valley Zoning Bylaw No. 2800, 2022, by changing the land use designation of the property from Agriculture One (AG1) to Administrative and Institutional Site Specific (AIs).
