The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen Emergency Operations Centre (RDOS EOC) issued an Evacuation Order on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 8:00 pm for the Pasayten area in Electoral Area “H” due to the Calcite Creek Wildfire K61067.

The Evacuation Order is for 16 properties, from the intersection of Highway 3, south to Pasayten Forest Service Road.

Evacuation Order: You must leave the area immediately.

Register as an evacuee online at ess.gov.bc.ca or call Emergency Support Services (ESS) at 250-273-0143.

If you need help with online registration for ESS or general information, please call the BC Evacuee Helpline at
1-800-387-4258.

An updated Evacuation Alert has been issued for Eastgate and Placer Creek.

Evacuation Alert: This is the time to get prepared to leave your home on short notice.
Get your grab-and-go bag, a small emergency kit that is easy to take with you, in case you need to leave right away.

The next update is scheduled for 1:00 pm on Sunday, August 4, 2024, or if the situation changes.
