The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen Emergency Operations Centre (RDOS EOC) continues to monitor flooding and high water across the region. The current situation is dynamic and constantly changing, the safety of first responders and the public remains top priority.

Residents and visitors are advised to stay away from all river systems. If you live by a river system, exercise extreme caution, and if your home is not impacted, shelter in place. If you or a neighbour are in harm’s way, please call 9-1-1.

First responders and other authorities are monitoring and evaluating evolving situations. Certain areas are challenging to access, remain where you are if it is safe to do so and avoid all unnecessary travel. Many highways are closed across the province, check drivebc.ca for latest updates.

If you have been evacuated due to flooding or are on Evacuation Alert, please register with the Evacuee Registration and Assistance tool even if you do not require referrals such as housing or other services.
