In accordance with Section 467 of the Local Government Act,please be advised that the Regional District Board will be considering 1st reading of Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2800.40, 2024 at its meeting of September 5, 2024.

The amendment is being sought in order to allow an 18-unit townhouse development.

  Amendment Bylaw No. 2800.40, 2022, proposes to amend Schedule ‘2’ (Zoning Map) of the Okanagan Valley Zoning Bylaw No. 2800, 2022, from part Low Density Residential One (RS1) and part Low Density Residential Duplex (RD1) to Medium Density Residential One (RM1).

This bylaw may also be inspected at the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen office at 101 Martin Street, Penticton, BC, on weekdays (excluding statutory holidays) between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Anyone who considers themselves affected by Amendment Bylaw No. 2800.40, 2024 may submit written feedback prior to the Board’s consideration of 1st reading of the bylaw on Thursday, September 5, 2024.

NOTE: in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act, a public hearing cannot be held in relation to this amendment bylaw.
