PUBLIC NOTICE

221 Prospect Drive, Electoral Area “H”

Temporary Use Permit (TUP)

The Temporary Use Permit is being sought in order to permit the operation of a three (3) bedroom, six (6) person vacation rental use on the subject property between May 1st and October 31st, to expire on December 31, 2024.

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 493 of the Local Government Act, the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) will consider an application for a Temporary Use Permit (TUP) for the use described above at 221 Prospect Drive (legally described as Lot 47, Plan KAP29782, District Lot 1909, KDYD).

Copies of the draft permit and supporting information can be inspected at the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen office at 101 Martin Street, Penticton, BC, on weekdays (excluding statutory holidays) between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Should you wish to submit comments regarding this proposal, the Regional District requires that they be submitted not later than December 14, 2023 in one of the following ways:

  • in-person (by delivering comments to the RDOS office at 101 Martin Street in Penticton).

Please note that comments received after this date will be placed on file and not considered by the Regional District.
