The results of the 2023 Citizen Survey were shared with the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) Corporate Services Committee on Thursday, September 7, 2023. The Citizen Survey is an essential tool to evaluate service and program delivery by the Regional District. The survey, which was open from April 6 to May 5, 2023, received 740 responses. 

Survey results were also shared with a community focus group to gather additional feedback. Invitations to participate in the focus group were sent to not-for-profit groups and Indigenous communities within the region. RDOS senior management and staff will be reviewing the survey results with discussions to follow regarding service levels, areas for improvement, and budget implications.

The 2023 Citizen Survey, which featured anonymous responses, was promoted on all RDOS web and social media channels. Posters were also distributed in communities and information was sent to local media. Paper copies were made available upon request.
