McIntyre Canyon Park
The subject property was originally purchased by BC Hydro in the mid-1970's when it was working out the right-of-way for it's 500 kv transmission line. In 1985, the 14.8 acre island was turned over to the Regional District for park purposes for the sum of $1.00. The park has some significance as an Indian fishing site.
