Flood recovery and freshet preparedness
News ArticleThe Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) hosted an electronic and in-person town hall meeting at the Tulameen Community Centre on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.
The town hall meeting included updates on flood recovery efforts from the November 2021 flooding event, as well as information about spring freshet response and preparedness. Representatives attended from RDOS, Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, Ministry of Forests, Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, Emergency Management B.C., and Canadian Red Cross.
