RDOS hosts flood recovery town hall meeting
News ArticleThe Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is hosting an electronic and in-person town hall meeting at the Tulameen Community Centre, 2595 Coalmont Road.
When: Tuesday, April 12, 2022
5:30 to 6:30 pm: opportunities for one-on-one discussions (in-person only)
6:30 to 9:00 pm: presentations and questions
The town hall meeting will feature updates on flood recovery efforts from the November 2021 flooding event, as well as information about spring freshet response and preparedness. Presentations will include local and provincial representatives from RDOS, Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations, Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, Emergency Management B.C., and Canadian Red Cross.
